The words you read here are not meant for others to judge, impress, or anything along those lines. They're simple short poems and random bursts of thoughts.

Many will not understand what they mean, mainly because they are born and based on my inner workings and self experiences.

By writing them out of my little black book I'd feel better and more open to myself.

Freedom
Endless holes in the trampoline
Allow the birds to fly through,
But are slaughtered once justice
Kisses their feathers.
Its only natural.

Burning Trees
Barbed wire dresses right the misfortune placed in her basket.
Never will it be spring, but at least the harvest will last the crawling thorn.
I trust it will fall.
Sleep in her puddle.
The warmth is cordial and the taste is brackish and dark.
But why, why do her fingertips hesitate the waters,
Why does the scent allow me to touch?
Touch the battered skin that I call
My own.

Phone Calls (Continued from Burning Trees)
Splashing in her pool of mirth does no harm,
For glazing in that innocence will bring you pleasure
For the moment.
Her laughter bounces off fragile ears in silver coils
To lay untouched once resting on still surfaces.
You were fooled. You were all fooled.
This face is, unbeknown to you, a flaw in your polished eyes.
These are burrowing subjects that deny what you plan.
Thirst on your blindness,
The utopia that molds in the crevices of vulnerability is not welcomed.
Avert back, please do, and drain what you believe into these
Comforting wounds.

Ocean Drift
Breath in,
Then stop.
No one is listening.
Oh, but how they laugh.
Present cells will never let you go,
They love your forgiveness far too much.
Find your face in the silence.
Brace yourself,
Here it comes!

The Barber
Her hair falls out,
not enough as always.
But turn around young child,
Your savior must feed,
cease to withdraw and peace shall choke on your penance.
Sanity is nothing more than that damned child.
So carve out your sanity and suckle on the rush,
Hold it close and invite him in.

Blue Birds
They are teaching to sin,
Tongues are aging,
Don't leave this platform,
It is no longer permitted.
Fret no more and stop your wander.
Soon, very soon it will arrive.
Expose the flesh, welcome the idea, accept the action, cringe at the sun.
Smile.
Here they come.
It will be over.
Time to crack.

Obey
The watercolor stains dance upon the lukewarm light,
But whom do they dance for?
They milkmaid waits patiently for her tongue, but is only rewarded with shame.
Such shame.

My Sunshine
If our faces weren't peeling back
And our children weren't dying,
You would be my sunshine.

Recoiling
He casts a hand upon the cheek.
The cold,
It spreads briefly, then fades to grey.
Repent. Repent.
It's all that can transmit.
Search. Consume.
It's all that is left.
But forget my touch, and I promise you
That sleep shan't chill your bones.
